Derp Wins Best of Breed

GrCh Derp picks up his 1st Best of Breed of 2014. Nubzilla moves closer to a Champion title.

The highly anticipated Bakersfield Luck Of The Splash Dogs event was upon us. The temperatures were hot and the water was cold but Grand Champion Derp and Nubzilla were just right. Derp won Best Grand Champion, Best of Breed and Best in Show against some stiff competition. His first wins of 2014.¬† Nubzilla didn’t disappoint in his 2014 debut, winning BIG. Including a couple majors and a total of 75 points. That’s half way to his Champion title in only one day of showing. Both will be headed to Idaho for a quadruple show March 22nd. Derp will continue¬† his quest to end 2014 among the top ranked dogs in the ABKC and Nubzilla will look to earn his Champion title and then work towards finishing as a Grand Champion. Adding the the long list of Beastro offspring that are Champions or Grand Champions. Things are heating up and look to be getting hotter!

Ch Kandi defeats her sire Beastro for Best of Breed

It was a great time in Vegas Saturday. Great weather, great venue and great results for our dogs. Beastro won two Grand Champion Classes but was once again defeated by one of his progeny for Best of Breed. This time it was his daughter Champion Kandi. Kandi picked up two Champion wins then went up for Best of Breed, defeating her sire Beastro with an outstanding performance. We look to keep the momentum going and will continue to push Kandi for her Grand Champion title. We are hopeful that she can finish by Summer time. She is the third Beastro daughter approaching a Grand Champion title and the third Beastro offspring to defeat him for Best of Breed this year. It’s one thing to make claims a dog can produce and another to go out and prove it. For the people asking how Beastro is producing, we hope the facts clear up those questions but in our humble opinion the best is yet to come. Our next event is a triple show March 15th in Bakersfield California.

Beastro wins Best of Breed in Florida

Homie Blood dominates the Dade City Bully Bash

Our trip to the Sunshine state was a big success and in more ways than one. Grand Champion Beastro showed out, winning two Best Grand Champion classes and a Best of Breed. His daughter “Cookie” won two Champion classes and ended the day beating Beastro for Best of Breed. All natural ears… No problem! Her two Champion wins pushes her closer to finishing as a Grand Champion. Can she become the first ABKC Grand Champion with natural ears? We think so! Only three more wins to go. As for Beastro his win makes for 56 Best of Breed wins in his career. More than any other American Bully in the history of the breed. As dominant as Beastro has been over the years, his offspring are starting to reach full maturity and beat him at shows. Earlier in the year his son RedRum took him out for Best of Breed in California. Now his daughter Cookie took him out for Best of Breed in Florida. As time progresses Beastro continues to show that he is not only a winner himself but also a producer of winners. Just like his sire Lock N Load and his sire Homie. It’s in the blood and in Homie Blood we trust!
